Have you ever thought about this? No matter how many you have been with, were you were the same person every time?

People may come into your for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

How can you say that the 18-year old version of you is the same as the 25-year old version! It's like the comparing Windows XP to Windows 98 or O/S 2 to O/S X [I am obviously not a Mac person]. Anyway, all the different versions of you (young, old, happy, sad, horny, celibate, married, single, gay, straight) deserve to have some fun. Stop Counting!

We are big fans of Jessica Cutler. [Deal with it!] With that said, we hope that in her keeping track of how many Jewish boyfriends she has had, that she is not counting all the lovers who have graced her bed. She's back!!! Karyn, the woman who became famous for her debt and wrote about it has a second book in her. It's called
TWENTY TIMES A LADY. Its North American rights were sold to Alison Callahan at HarperCollins.

It is described as this:

A humorous new novel about a 29-year-old Manhattanite who's obsessed with her "number" (the number of men she's slept with) and what she does once she reaches her limit.

[I wonder what will be her final number. Just kidding, you know I don't care.]

Stop Snitching

The idea for this blog came from two things: conversation and observation. A few weeks ago, my friends and I were talking about the strategy of "keeping the numbers down". I mean women are having sex with exes not for "nostalgia purposes", but because repeaters don't count.

The observation part is the fact that I see these annyoing T-shirts up in Harlem with a stop sign that says "Stop Snitching". If you choose to wear a T-shirt with a big red octagonal shape, then it should be for a big reason. Stop Counting T-shirt will soon made on Cafe Press as soon as I get a graphic for the design.

Hos. Whores. Hoors. Sluts. That's what everyone calls the women who have been around the block. It's 2005 and women are still worried about the numbers. It's not about protecting their bodies from disease or protecting their hearts from love. It's about protecting an image or an idea. I don't judge, because life is too short. Stop counting. Tell us your stories about your 2nd, 20th, or 200th lover. We don't want to know about your first, because that's too banal. Besides you should stop counting after that. OK?!
